Properties: White or colorless crystalline free flowing solid, efflorescent in air, easily soluble in water, but insoluble in alcohol, its water solution is slightly alkaline, relative density at 1.52 g/cm3, melting point at 35℃
Application: In the food industry as a quality improver, PH regulator, Buffering agent, emulsified dispersant, nutritional supplement and moisture retainer. Mainly used in cheese, beverages, jelly, ketchup, lunch meat and meat cured products, at the same time can be used as modified starch additives. Add 3-5 ‰ to food processing.
